Send us a photograph - your family, your pets, a day you never want to forget. We reimagine it as a scene in the style of the Bayeux Tapestry, then embroider it in coloured thread on plain cloth, made to hang on your wall.
Pick a photograph you love - a family gathering, the dog mid-leap, last summer’s wedding.
Your photo is reworked as a Bayeux-style scene - flat colour, bold outline, a touch of medieval drama.
The scene is embroidered in coloured thread on plain cloth, finished, and sent to your door.
The original Bayeux Tapestry runs nearly seventy metres long. Yours will be rather easier to find wall space for - our first pieces are planned at roughly 32 × 18 cm, about the width of a tea tray.
Every hanging is a single, one-of-a-kind piece. Your scene is drawn in a limited palette of thread colours, then machine-embroidered on plain cloth in the long, flat stitches of the original. No two are alike, because no two stories are.
The Bayeux Tapestry told the story of a conquest in wool on linen. We borrow its look - the plain cloth, the long stitches, the limited palette, the wobbly hand of the originals - to tell much smaller stories. Yours.

Our first pieces are planned at roughly 32 × 18 cm, landscape - sized for a wall, a shelf, or above a desk.
